Junior Golf Academy at the Links at Union Vale

The Links Junior Golf Academy will return for a 10^th year in 2024.  PGA Member, Head Professional and US Kids Certified Coach and Top 50 Instructor Honorable Mention, Pat Sullivan will lead the instruction with assistance from his PGA Member Assistant Golf Professional, US Kids Certified Coach and Top 50 Instructor Honorable Mention Travis Banks.  The program will consist of 9 one-week sessions beginning Monday, June 24^th and running through Thursday, August 29^th.  There will be a one-week break during the week of July 29^th to August 1^st.

The focus of the Academy is to introduce golf to new and young players while focusing on having fun and building lasting friendships.  Our Academy is designed for new and returning golfers aged 6 – 14.  Whether new to golf or aspiring to compete at local tournaments and on scholastic teams, The Links Junior Golf Academy can help all players reach their goals. 

Each week, golfers will be grouped together by age based on enrollment, into smaller groups each with an instructor.  Each weekly session will run Monday thru Thursday, drop off time is 8:00 am and pick up is 12:00 pm.  Students will learn the fundamental requirements of the golf swing including long game, short game, putting, strategy, and on and off course etiquette.

8:30 – 9:30 • Skill Building Station Rotation
9:30 – 10:30 • Skill Building Station Rotation
10:30 – 10:45 • Snack / Break
10:45 – 12:00 • Competition / Games / Simulated Play
12:00 • Pick Up
